Stacey Cooper

Toni's Kitchen Director of Operations

Stacey started with Toni’s as a volunteer with great initiative and passion to establish the original backpack program. With a background in management of hair salons and experience in inspiring and leading teams of 5 to 20 people, it seemed natural when the opportunity arose to combine her passion for helping people with her management style. Stacey transitioned into Toni’s Kitchen manager in 2017 as a part-time employee. As the need grew, Stacey’s position became full-time. With the onset of the pandemic, her strategic planning and ability to create structure from chaos helped lead the Toni’s
team to feed over 1.5 million people. Stacey is excited to complete our goal of building a food-secure community in our catchment area of Montclair, Bloomfield, and West Orange.
Fun facts: Stacey hasn’t always been in nonprofit! Her first career was as a cosmetologist. She has owned her own salon and still does hair today. In her free time, she loves going to the shore and enjoying her family. She is most proud of watching her kids grow and achieve success.
