Vestry Class of 2027

When I was invited to join the St. Luke’s Senior Choir in 1980, it never occurred to me that I would still be here – and still singing – forty-three years later! What a fabulous place this is. With everything that I have seen this parish go through over the years – I am loving where we are today. We are a unique and exciting community and I am grateful to be a part of it.

Over the years I have served on many committees – Junior Branch, Counting, Worship, Personnel, Coffee Hour, Healing and Music – to name a few. I have volunteered in Toni’s Closet: A Second Time Around Shop, and am currently on the monthly team that cooks for Toni’s Kitchen. I co-chaired the Parish Life Committee with Sue Villarosa and we organized the annual Big Din – our claim to fame! I have previously served on the Vestry and was a Warden when John Mennell became our Rector. I am your friendly coffee maker each Sunday morning!

Artie and I are almost empty nesters (we tend to adopt dogs and currently have a rather large one and a medium-sized one, both of which keep us busy). We have two grown daughters – Caty, who is the mother of our four grandchildren (with another on the way!) who are all under the age of seven – and Brienna, who was married to Jorge in October. We are blessed – with each other, with our family, our friends and our church.

I am honored to be asked to run for Vestry again – and look forward to serving St. Luke’s in that capacity if elected.
