Join Us As We “Pray the Parish” for the Easter Season

We continue to sow the seeds of love in the observance of this unique season. As we fast from public gatherings, we are encouraged to pray and meditate on God’s Holy Word. As we look for where we see and experience God in this season, we are encouraged to pray for those who walk this journey alongside us in our St. Luke’s congregation.

Beginning on the first Monday after Easter, each day you have an opportunity to pray for several members of the parish along with a collect from the Book of Common Prayer. The list of names is randomly sorted, and if you use this every day, you will have prayed for all 624 people on the St. Luke’s roster by Pentecost.

If you know the person, feel free to pray for any needs or concerns of which you know. If you don’t know the person, simply pray, “May the Lord bless and keep….” As an additional act of love, feel free to call, e- mail, or text people saying, “I prayed for you today!”

May your Easter journey bring you closer to Christ!

Please email Chris to sign up. Each day, you will receive a brief email containing a prayer, a list of parishioners to pray for that day, links to readings following along with the Good Book Club, and other resources.
Emails will begin Monday, April 13 and continue through Pentecost.
