The Aesthetics Committee, Gardening Division is reviving an old project at St. Luke’s. We’re planting memorial trees and bushes, while redesigning some tired areas on the property. You may wish to make a general donation to this project, or have a tree or shrub planted in memory of a loved one. The first planting is taking place in early September, and a lovely crape myrtle tree will be planted in honor of Twyla Banitch’s husband and Meg Banitch’s dad, George Banitch. This projects serves as a living memorial of someone special and gives life to a plant in the face of loss, a memory, or as a tribute.
