Sunday Paper and Website Guidelines

St. Luke’s is a BUSY place, full of joy, excitement, and fellowship. We are constantly publishing both one-time and recurring events that involve the parish. All people interested in publishing blurbs about meetings, gatherings, mission trips, classes, and special events should contact Tara in the church office at communications@slechurch.org.

Some guidelines:

– Please send your blurb several weeks in advance so that we can print at least twice. A month before the event is preferable for scheduling purposes.

– The absolute latest that a blurb can be submitted is  no later than 9:00 a.m. Tuesday before a Sunday event. Remember, if your event is on a Saturday, it should be included in the previous week’s Sunday Paper. If you do not send it in time, it will not be included in the printed Sunday Paper.

– With your blurb about an event, please make sure to include a contact person, date, and time of event, as well as if there is a specific group invited to participate.

– Finally, if this event should be published to the community outside of St. Luke’s, please mention this! We publish events to a Diocesan Listserv, local newspapers, BaristaNet, Montclair Patch, and many more locations, as well as publishing by fliers, handouts, and brochures. Let us know who you want to attend so that we can let the appropriate people know.
