Invitation to a Holy Lent

Lent is a season where we are invited, in the name of the Church, to self-examination and repentance. This year during Lent, we will look for ways each day that we can say “Yes, we will … with God’s help,” echoing our baptismal vows.

  • Morning Prayer – Engage this part of the daily office from the comfort of your own home as we gather on Zoom each Saturday at 10:00am.
  • Healing Prayer – During our Wednesday 7:30pm communion service in the season of Lent, we will offer healing prayer – the laying on of hands – to all who desire.
  • Four Gospels – Following a shared schedule, we offer the opportunity to read the four Gospels in their entirety during Lent.
  • March Psalms – Join us in marching through the Psalms this month with daily emails that will lead you through all 150 Psalms.
  • Seeing God – Grab some lunch and gather in the Rectory on Saturdays at 12:30pm to discuss where we have seen the wonder of God in our lives in the last week.
  • Quiet Reflection – Plan to spend some time in the quiet of the sanctuary Wednesdays from 5:00pm until 6:30pm
  • Adult Forums – Stay a bit longer at church on Sundays to learn more about our practice of faith as we gather at 11:30am to learn.
  • Lenten Devotionals – Follow a Lenten Devotional with daily offerings like what is offered by Episcopal Relief and Development.
  • Meeting Saints – Get in on the Lent Madness game voting on-line to choose your favorite saint in the daily competition.
  • Parish Prayers – Pray for every member of the congregation using our annual “Pray the Parish” booklet including all the names of our parishioners and staff.
  • Serving Others – Volunteer in our Toni’s Kitchen or Toni’s Closet ministries to support our work loving our neighbors with food insecurity.
  • Serving God – Join one of the many ministries that supports our worship including Altar Guild, Usher, Reader, Acolyte and more.
