{"id":11574,"date":"2019-05-08T12:14:36","date_gmt":"2019-05-08T16:14:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/slechurch.org\/?p=11574"},"modified":"2019-11-18T17:32:58","modified_gmt":"2019-11-18T22:32:58","slug":"sow-the-seeds-of-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/slechurch.org\/?p=11574","title":{"rendered":"SOW the Seeds of Love!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<table class=\"wp-block-table aligncenter is-style-stripes\"><tbody><tr><td>SOW the seeds of love &#8211; Planting Instructions<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n\n\n\n<table class=\"wp-block-table\"><tbody><tr><td>Part of the work that we are called to do is to&nbsp;<strong>sow the seeds of love<\/strong>&nbsp;in our community and beyond through:<br><br><strong>S<\/strong>ervice to God and the world<br><strong>O<\/strong>ne-ness with God and each other<br><strong>W<\/strong>elcome to neighbor and stranger<br><br>We will be reminded of that work and God&#8217;s presence in our lives by actually sowing wildflower seeds that were handed out at the annual meeting.<br><br><em>Here&#8217;s what to do:<\/em><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"> <\/span><ul><li>Choose a sunny spot and remove existing growth<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Scatter the seeds evenly and compress into the bare soil (Do not cover) <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>After sprouting, keep seedlings moist until they are about 6-8 inches tall. <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>After that &#8211; minimal care is needed. <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Mow after frost in the fall to scatter more seeds!<\/li><\/ul> <br>The seed packet contains a variety of seeds &#8212; some annuals, perennials and biennials designed for our part of the country. Such a very large crowd gathered around him that he got into a boat on the lake and sat there, while the whole crowd was beside the lake on the land.&nbsp;He began to teach them many things in parables, and in his teaching he said to them:\u2018Listen! A sower went out to sow.&nbsp;And as he sowed, some seed fell on the path, and the birds came and ate it up.&nbsp;Other seed fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil, and it sprang up quickly, since it had no depth of soil.&nbsp;And when the sun rose, it was scorched; and since it had no root, it withered away.&nbsp;Other seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no grain.&nbsp;Other seed fell into good soil and brought forth grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirty and sixty and a hundredfold.\u2019&nbsp;And he said, \u2018Let anyone with ears to hear listen!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Go sow the seeds of love and see what God does!<\/em><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SOW the seeds of love &#8211;
