This year during Lent, we will look for ways each day that we can make room for God in echoing our baptismal vows.<\/p><p><strong>Continue in the apostles&#8217; teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><em>Pray the Parish<\/em> \u2013 Pray daily for other members of the Congregation<\/li><li><em>Wednesday Night Service<\/em> \u2013 Come to the quiet of the sanctuary at 7:00pm to worship<\/li><li><em>Saturday Morning Prayer<\/em> \u2013 Join others for <a href=\"https:\/\/slechurch-org.zoom.us\/j\/422258104\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online prayer<\/a> on Saturdays at 8:30am<\/li><li><em>Lent Madness<\/em> \u2013 Learn about some saints who have gone before us through a fun voting bracket. Handouts in back of church and voting through <a href=\"http:\/\/lentmadness.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lentmadness.org<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Persevere in resisting evil, and, whenever you fall into sin, repent and return to the<\/strong> <strong>Lord:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><em>The Daily Office<\/em> \u2013 Commit to personal Morning, Noon, and\/or Evening Prayer<\/li><li><em>Retreat<\/em> \u2013 Plan to join us for a half-day retreat on Saturday, March 21 in the Rectory.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><em>Read the Gospels<\/em> \u2013 Read the Good News so you can tell your story (click to download the <a href=\"https:\/\/slechurch.org\/?page_id=17944\">Reading Plan<\/a>)<\/li><li><em>Join the Choir<\/em> \u2013 Spread the good news in song.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><em>Volunteer at Toni\u2019s<\/em> \u2013 Love your neighbor through service in the Kitchen or Closet.
