At St. Luke’s we offer an opportunity for kids of all ages to reach out into the world and serve others throughout the year.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>September — Kids in the Kitchen<\/strong> — Sunday, September \u00a0, 2012\u00a0\u00a0Calling kids of all ages, join us in the Sawtelle Room from 11:30 – 1:00. \u00a0We will prepare treats and “manna bags” for Toni’s Kitchen. \u00a0A simple lunch will be served.<\/p>\n

October — \u00a0<\/strong>Food Day<\/strong>\u00a0 –Wednesday, October 24th 2012 — We will be exploring Healthy Halloween<\/a> eating throughout the day and inviting all the kids of the congregation to join the Junior Choir for dinner at 6pm.<\/p>\n

November — Seaman’s Institute Christmas at Sea Project<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>December<\/strong> — Christ Child Project<\/strong> — December 2, 2012 ( the 1st Sunday of Advent) We will decorate the tree with gift ideas for others, and \u00a0throughout December we will be collecting gifts for the families of the Theraputic Learning Center and others.<\/p>\n

January<\/strong> — Parade of Kings and Queen<\/strong> — Sunday, January 6th 2013 at the 10 am Service. \u00a0The children of St. Luke’s will dress as Kings and Queens and bring their gifts to the baby during the 10am service. \u00a0Diapers, Similac, wipes and other items will be collected for \u00a0North Porch.
