What Do the Gospels Say?

Often we hear politicians of a certain stripe, interest group leaders and even fast food chain executives say “the Gospel says….”  On Sunday mornings we hear small slices of the Gospels read along with other lessons and psalms, but do we really have clarity about what’s in them?  When we read the Gospels more thoroughly and attentively we discover that each of them has a personality or point of view that addresses various questions of faith and community.  We will have the opportunity to read in some detail directly from Gospel selections, as well as look at some historical and geographical resources, too.  This series will be led by The Rev. Tom Laws and held on Sunday mornings at 9:00am at the church before the 10:00am Communion and Music service.
