St. Luke’s has been my church home for over ten years now. After moving to Montclair in 2009, it was the first stop on my journey to find a church, and since it felt like home right away, I never went anywhere else! It was not long before I became a member of the senior choir, started teaching middle and then high school-age Sunday School, ran a Coffee Hour team, and served two terms on the Vestry among other volunteer roles. I believe that if I’m chosen to serve again I will bring my deep love and care for St. Luke’s, my past Vestry experience, my energy, enthusiasm, and good humor, and the benefit of my non-profit management experience gained since my last Vestry term.
Outside of St. Luke’s, my husband Stephan and I have recently moved out to Morris County with our small menagerie including Izzy, our dog, and several guinea pigs. I work as the Director of Girl Experience for the Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey, responsible for a team who develops and delivers programming for the Girl Scouts in our footprint, and enjoy learning to cook, building my house plant collection, and playing games with our friends.
