Vestry Class of 2021

St. Luke’s is a special place and even more so because of the people who make up the parish. Through attending both the Celebrate! and 10:00 a.m. services, volunteering for Toni’s Kitchen, the Backpack program, Kids in the Kitchen, as a member of a coffee hour team and as an usher, I have gotten to know some wonderful people and have come to think of this church as an extension of family and home. I would like to take this opportunity of becoming part of the leadership to deepen my commitment to our church, helping to grow it and develop the many initiative available, and make it an even more welcoming, diverse, caring and supportive place where members feel confident about the ways they can and do contribute in their own way.

Trained as a lawyer, I currently work as a senior manager overseeing contract development and negotiation for clinical research. My day to day includes training and developing staff, prioritizing multiple projects, troubleshooting, collaborating with different departments and different groups of people from faculty to industry partners to senior leadership, advising on and developing strategy for efficient start up of projects, and bringing stakeholders together to achieve common goals. I think all of these, along with years of volunteer work for various nonprofit and community groups would be valuable skills for a Vestry member.

I live in Montclair with my husband Jason. For fun, I enjoy attending live performances, music, art (as an appreciator, not a creator), yoga, running slowly, and cooking.
