Vestry Class of 2024

St. Luke’s is a special place and even more so because of the people who make up the parish. I was first introduced to St. Luke’s through volunteering at Toni’s Kitchen, the amazing St. Luke’s feeding ministry. Over the years, through attending both the Celebrate! and 10:00 a.m. services, volunteering for Toni’s Kitchen, the Backpack program, Kids in the Kitchen, and Church School, being a member of a coffee hour team and as an usher, I have gotten to know some wonderful people, made some great friends, and now consider this church as an extension of family and home. Serving on the Vestry over the last 3 years has been an extremely rewarding and meaningful part of life, and I would be honored if elected to continue the work of helping St. Luke’s grow, evolve, and be a responsive and welcoming “Cathedral in the Community.” I have enjoyed the challenge of working with others to make this an even more diverse, caring, and supportive place where members feel not only a spiritual home, but also confident about the ways they can and do contribute in their own way.

Trained as a lawyer, my current day job is working as a policy manager for a major academic medical center in New York, where I interact and implement strategies with the legal, compliance, and operational departments. I have extensive experience overseeing and training contract development and negotiation teams, too.

I live in the wonderful town of Montclair with my husband Jason. Outside of work, I enjoy attending live performances, music, going to museums, reading memoirs, yoga, running slowly, hiking and being in nature, cooking, and doing volunteer work in the larger community.
