#NeverAgain- Candlelight Vigil for Refugees – Tuesday, June 6

Bnai Keshet Synagogue invites you to join in a

Candlelight Vigil to Honor refugees turned away in 1939

Stand up for today’s refugees

Tuesday, June 6, 6:00 p.m.

Montclair, NJ | Church St. and Bloomfield Ave.

Gather on June 6: Together we will bear witness to the turning away of passengers on the transatlantic liner St. Louis when over 900 mostly Jewish refugees trying to flee the horrors of the Third Reich were not allowed into the US and sent back to Germany, where they were murdered in the Holocaust.

Make our voices heard always – and especially now- as the president decides on the maximum number of refugees to be resettled in the U.S. for 2018.
