St. Luke’s would like to say a special, “thank you” to Jim Short, for his several years of dedication and service as chair of the Stewardship Committee. His financial reports, attention to detail, and ability to connect to parishioners personally have helped St. Luke’s to grow exponentially. Stewardship is not just the act of giving money to money to the church. Rather it is sharing of one’s time, talent, and treasure, not because we are asked to, but as a desire to support and give for the act of giving. Though we will miss Jim and his leadership in this committee, we are pleased to announce that David Goslin will assume the Stewardship Committee chair position in the coming year. His background in finance, organization, and leadership will continue to propel St. Luke’s into a bright future that includes outreach, community, fellowship, spiritual enrichment, and above all, joyfully seeking and serving Christ.
