The Newark Chapter of the Union of Black Episcopalians invites you to the annual celebration of the life and ministry of The Rev. Absalom Jones, the first person of African descent ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church. The celebration will take place Sunday, February 8 at 3:00 p.m. in Trinity and St. Philip’s Cathedral (608 Broad Street). The Rt. Rev. Mark Beckwith will preside and The Rev.
