St. Luke’s would like to thank you for your outpouring of support at the February 1st Adult Forum to honor the late Charles Malone. Attendance was triple what was expected and it was an exciting way to launch Black History Month. A heartfelt program was provided by his daughter, parishioner Karen Malone, and his wife and St. Luke’s parishioner, Betty Malone, was able to attend and share stories with the crowd. What a great way to honor someone who changed the way that men of color were perceived in our history. Thank you to all who attended, all who supported and organized the event, and to the Malone family for sharing their family history with the community.
