Every baptized person is called to ministry. The Education for Ministry (EfM) program helps to equip lay people to discern and carry out their ministries. The EfM program is a four-year curriculum, with weekly meetings over a nine-month cycle roughly tracking the school year. St. Luke’s Education for Ministry is accepting new members, mentored by Susan Singer and Gordon Frey. There is a fee of $350 per year for study materials and other expenses, although some financial aid is available.
