Pentecost – Sunday, May 20

Pentecost celebrates the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and marks the end of Easter season. “Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.” Everyone is asked to wear red to Pentecost Sunday services to represent the tongues of fire as stated in Acts 2:3. We also have several baptisms on Pentecost, so if you would like more information regarding baptisms, please click here.
